Syngas Combustion in a Turbogas Trapped Vortex Burner

Abstract |
The aim of the work is to analyze syngas combustion in a prototype gas-turbine burner, based on trapped-vortex technology, by means of CFD simulations. The prototype to be realized consists of a linearized sector of the whole annular chamber. The simulations are steady RANS and the models adopted for turbulence and for chemistry are the realizable k-epsilon and the EDC model, respectively. |
