Abstract |
By far the biggest challenge in providing advanced mechanical properties for large sets of metallic materials and service conditions is the overall scarceness of meaningful experimental data. To overcome this problem over 10.000 materials from over 500 references were collected and consolidated ready for use. A range of specific methods have been developed to derivate these properties for thousands of other metallic materials, from conventional methods and predictions of cyclic properties based on static ones, to an artificial-intelligence-based, patented algorithm for material comparison. |
