Abstract |
A numerical validation at high pressure condition was conducted to confirm all design practices and models used in CFX in order to achieve the Performance required of a modern LOW NOX Engine for Aeronautical Business. A sector model of a typical annular combustor was used in calculations. Flow fields performance and temperature distributions emissions were analyzed and The results reasonably agreed with those from experiments, which demonstrates the applicability of CFX and the chemical mechanism to the predictions of emissions and combustion performance. |
